The college will start receiving online Applications on and from 02.08.2021 (Monday) at 10 a.m. till 20.08.2021 (Friday) 12 midnight.

IMPORTANT: Read Carefully

 

On the basis of the Notification of Calcutta University Dated 13th July, 2021) online admission for the Academic Session 2021-2022 will commence on and from 02.08.2021.

 

1)                   Online admission process will be done based on merit. Prospective students will not be called for counselling or verification of documents during the process of admission. No physical presence will be required at thecollege.

 

2)                   Eligible applicants will be informed directly by the college authorities

 

through email andSMS.

3)                   Payment of fees will be done only through e-payment (viz., Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking) and not physically at thecollege.

 

4)                   All testimonials are required to be uploaded online during application. Verification of documents, if required, should be done only when the students report for the classes in due course. Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submittedonline.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. HONOURS

Admission, 2021-22

Aggregate is total of best four subjects excluding Compulsory environmental Studies for all boards including West Bengal Higher Secondary Council for 2020, 2019, as well as 2018.

 

1.             CriteriaforGeneralCategoryApplicantsintendingtotakeHonours

 

A candidate intending to take up Honours course in a subject must have obtained:

 

i.                   Aminimumof50%marksintheaggregateand45%inthesubject or related subject at the previousqualifying examination.

 

OR

 

ii.                 55%marksinthesubjectorrelatedsubjects.

 

OR

 

iii.               50%marksintheaggregate,whenthesubjectisnotstudied.

 

iv.                Marks in compulsory Environmental Education/Studies will NOTbe taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If the subjectEnvironmentalScienceisstudiesasanelectivesubjectof100 marks, it may be taken in to account for the purpose of determining the aggregatemarks.

 

2.           CriteriaforSC/STCategory*ApplicantsintendingtotakeHonours

 

AcandidateintendingtotakeupHonourscourseinasubjectmusthave obtained:

 

i.  Aminimumof40%marksintheaggregateor40%marksinthesubject

or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

ii.      Marks in compulsory Environmental Education/Studies will NOT be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject Environmental Science is studies as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may betakenintoaccountforthepurposeofdeterminingtheaggregatemarks.

 

Important Information:

A.    Applicants are hereby advised not to be duped by anybody in regard to admission. They are advised not to pay any amount to anybody, except as directed on the college admissionwebsite.

Applicants are asked not to come to the College for any admission- related

enquiry. All information will be available in the College website.

B.     Admission, taken on the basis of false statement or misstatement, found at any point of time throughout the session, shall be summarily cancelled.

C.     Dates and Time of admission must be strictly followed. No special extension of date and time will be granted to anyone under any circumstances (unless otherwise directed by theUniversity).

D.    Applicants are advised to scan and upload their photo and signature  at the time of filling up of their applicationform.

E.     Already admitted candidates will not be eligible for admission to 1styearclasses.

F.      Applicants should have one contact number (mobile number) which will be required at the time of their admission and also during their studies in thisCollege.

G.    No candidate will be admitted in any Honours courses who have passed from West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (CSR 21/16 Dated.25.01.2017).

H.    Candidates can pay their application fees and admission fees through online using any DEBIT/CREDIT CARD or NET BANKING through BillDesk.
